A Clean-Up Crew That Breeds with Ease

Mystery snails are peaceful, colorful, and fun to breed.

Tank Requirements:

10+ gallons

Temp: 74–80°F

GH: 8–18 (for healthy shells)

Tight-fitting lid — they lay eggs above waterline

Breeding Tips:

Keep at least one male and female (can’t self-fertilize)

Females lay large pink egg clutches above the waterline

Keep humidity high so eggs don’t dry out

Eggs hatch in 2–4 weeks — move to separate grow-out container

Feeding:

Algae wafers, veggies, calcium-rich foods

Provide cuttlebone or crushed coral for shell health
