We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion. This may include situations involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, stock issues, unsafe shipping conditions, or incomplete customer information.

6. Shipping

We ship live orders across Canada where carrier service allows.

Shipping times are not guaranteed. Blackwater Aquatics is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • weather
  • carrier routing issues
  • service interruptions
  • missed delivery attempts
  • incorrect addresses entered by the customer

7. Live Arrival / DOA

Live arrival coverage is governed by our separate Live Arrival / DOA Policy.

Claims must follow the exact requirements and time limits listed there. Failure to follow those requirements may result in denial of the claim.

8. Returns & Refunds

Live animals and live food cultures are final sale.

Returns may be accepted on eligible non-live products only if they are unused, unopened, and approved in advance by us.

Refunds, credits, replacements, and return eligibility are governed by our Refund Policy and related store policies.

9. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, you agree that you are responsible for:

  • providing an accurate shipping address
  • being available to receive live shipments
  • reviewing all relevant policies before ordering
  • ensuring that your tank, water parameters, and setup are appropriate before introducing livestock

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blackwater Aquatics shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from:

  • poor tank conditions
  • parameter mismatch
  • customer negligence
  • carrier delays or mishandling
  • missed deliveries
  • packages left unattended
  • losses occurring after shipment or delivery
  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

All website content, branding, text, images, graphics, and logos are the property of Blackwater Aquatics unless otherwise stated.
