GH: 6–10, KH: 2–6

Sponge filter or gentle filtration only

Heavily planted with moss, ferns, or guppy grass


Feeding:

Algae, biofilm, blanched veggies

Shrimp-specific pellets or wafers

Avoid copper in food or meds


Breeding:

No intervention needed — they breed easily in stable tanks

Eggs carried under female's tail

Babies need cover (moss, dense plants) to avoid being eaten


Tankmates:

Best in species-only tank

Can cohabitate with small fish, snails, and peaceful bettas
