Care Requirements

• Minimum tank: 10–20 gallons for a group

• Temperament: Semi-aggressive (species-only recommended)

• Diet: Live foods (scuds, baby snails, brine shrimp, bloodworms)

• Environment: Heavily planted, lots of hiding spots

• Water parameters:

   

  • pH 6.5–7.5

  • Temp 76–80°F

  • Soft–moderate water

Pea puffers are best kept in species-only tanks, but can sometimes co-exist with:
